Dr. Tumpa Patra of Adra India and Niagara Falls Canada, is a graduate of the Bankura Sammilani Medical School in India. Dr. Patra enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, singing, dancing, and Bollywood Movies. Dr. Patra chose the internal medicine program at Crestwood Medical center because she found the program to be the most supportive of new moms. As a new mom, she was apprehensive about starting a residency program with a six month old, but has found that the program made it easy for her family to settle in Huntsville.
Dr. Patra also believes that Crestwood Internal Medicine Residency Program has great learning opportunities with attendings who work directly with residents and provide ongoing feedback.
