Akram Haggag, M.D.

Program Director

Dr. Akram Haggag received his Doctorate of Medicine at Cairo University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Michigan State University. Dr. Haggag is board certified in Internal Medicine. With more than 20 years of experience, he is also active in the education of medical students.

Saketh Shekar, M.D.

Associate Program Director

Dr. Saketh Palasamudram Shekar is an Interventional Pulmonologist board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology and Critical Care. He completed his residency at the Atlantic Health Center in New Jersey and went on to complete a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. In addition, he has also completed a sub-specialty in Interventional Pulmonology at NYU.

Pam Hudson, M.D.

Executive Advisor, Graduate Medical Education

Dr. Pam Hudson is a family physician who has been at Crestwood Medical Center for more than 30 years and served as CEO for the last 16 years. Prior positions include senior executive roles as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Hudson has focused on the launch of Crestwood’s Medical Education Program since the summer of 2022.

Ali Hassoun, M.D.

Core Faculty & SEC: Infectious Disease

Dr. Ali Hassoun is a Clinical Professor of Medicine. He is an infectious diseases specialist, certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He graduated from University of Baghdad school of Medicine and trained with the Royal Australian College of Physicians, Auckland, New Zealand and completed his fellowship at the Long island Jewish Medical Center, New York. He is the chairman of the Infection Control Committee at Crestwood Medical Center.

Anna Maria Ennis

Facility Director, Graduate Medical Education

Ms. Anna Ennis, a native of Huntsville, Alabama, received her BS in Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. With more than 16 years of experience in the healthcare field, she joined Crestwood’s Medical Education Department in 2021.

Carrie Buss

Program Coordinator

Ms. Carrie Buss joined the Crestwood family in 2023. A teacher at heart, Carrie enjoys working with residents and faculty to ensure that the Internal Medicine Residency program at Crestwood Medical Center produces skilled, empathetic physicians that she would want to care for her family. In her free time, she cares for her perennial gardens and visits her adult children as much as possible. She also enjoys hiking, riding horses and training her Labrador retrievers.
