Dr. Courtney Bowen earned a medical degree from University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Medicine. She completed a family medicine residency at UAB Family Medicine in Huntsville, AL, where they served as chief resident during her final year. Throughout residency, Dr. Bowen received numerous accolades, including the Academic Achievement Award for the highest board score in their residency class and program history, and the Program Improvement Award for implementing impactful changes to enhance residency success.
“I’m happy to be in Huntsville and look forward to serving this community. I believe in empowering patients to take charge of their health through education, preventative care and a focus on overall wellness,” said Dr. Bowen.
Dr. Bowen is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and specializes in managing chronic medical conditions, behavioral medicine and preventive health.
