Dr. Fran Hudson earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2024 at Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Indianapolis, IN. During her clinical rotations, she discovered her passion for outpatient chronic disease state management, leading her to pursue a PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis. There, she provided comprehensive primary care services to underserved populations through pharmacist-led clinic visits and a 340B federally qualified pharmacy. During her residency, she also served as a preceptor and affiliate faculty member for Butler University, mentoring pharmacy students in various clinical settings.
Fran brings over six years of pharmacy experience, including roles as a pharmacy technician and intern at Crestwood Medical Center, where she built a strong foundation in hospital pharmacy operations. She also gained valuable community pharmacy experience as an intern with CVS. In addition, her work as a medication history technician enhanced her skills in medication reconciliation and supporting safe patient care transitions.
Her clinical interests include chronic disease state management with a focus on diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular risk reduction, anticoagulation, and geriatric care, with a strong commitment to serving underserved communities. In her free time, Fran enjoys giving back to her community, trying new restaurants, playing clarinet, and spending time with her family.
