Dr. Mohammad Banharally earned his medical degree after completing his undergraduate studies in Life Sciences at the University of Toronto, where he also explored his interests in psychology and the social sciences. Born in Canada and raised in Mauritius, he brings a unique perspective on healthcare disparities and is dedicated to improving access to healthcare and patient outcomes, particularly in underserved communities.
Before residency, Dr. Banharally worked in a family medicine clinic, where he discovered his passion for primary care, developed strong clinical skills, and built meaningful relationships with patients. Known for his cheerful demeanor and collaborative spirit, he strives to create a supportive and welcoming environment for both patients and colleagues. Dr. Banharally is particularly interested in community health, preventative care, and advocating for better patient outcomes. At the moment, he is learning Spanish to better connect and serve his community.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Banharally enjoys playing sports, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
