Having spent most of her life in New York City and completing her medical education at Khyber Girls Medical College in Peshawar, Pakistan, Dr. Khudija Nayab will bring a diverse cultural and clinical background to her journey in medicine. She has gained extensive experience across a variety of U.S. clinical settings—both outpatient and inpatient—working alongside multiple providers. These experiences have given Dr. Nayab a deep appreciation for the complexity of the U.S. healthcare system and have fueled her passion for internal medicine.
Throughout Dr. Nayab’s clinical journey, she has developed a solid foundation in patient care, along with a strong interest in the administrative aspects of medicine, including medical billing, coding, and clinical documentation improvement. Dr. Nayab is also deeply committed to education and leadership, and has found great fulfillment in teaching, mentoring, and leading teams.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, discovering new cuisines, exploring fashion and design, and spending quality time with her husband and their two wonderful boys. Dr. Nayab chose Crestwood Medical Center for Internal Medicine Residency because of its welcoming culture, strong sense of community, and dedication to comprehensive, well-rounded training. The Southern charm and Alabama’s warm climate make it an ideal place to continue growing—both professionally and personally. Notably, her husband and she were both honored to match at Crestwood, an opportunity that allows them to support each other while advancing their professional development within the same residency program.
